Finals are here at last and now I wish that they were gone. I have finals everyday the rest of this week. Tomorrow is my hardest day because I have two 3 hour finals. It is especially hard because my hardest final is on the same day. It will be intersesting to see how God works this one out. I've tried to study today and got some work done but it was especially frustrating when I was falling asleep as I was trying to study. The good news is that I have 6 days until I am going home! This past weekend was nice becuase I was able to take a nice long break before finals. I didn't do any homework until Sunday night which is a first because every weekend over the past year I spent studying on Saturday and Sunday. I just went and relaxed at my sponsor families house.
Oh yeah, and I've come to the conclusion that girls are weird (except for Candace). Can anyone explain why girls will talk to you one day and then pretend like they don't know you the next. For example I might have a long conversation with a girl one day and then the next day we will pass each other on the street and she'll look the other way. Just about every girl I know acts like this. So I assume that it is not abnormal. Girls are just weird and thats ok because that's how God made them. Or, maybe someone out their can enlighten me and explain this weirdness. Anyway I better get back to school work. God bless.
Before I forget I must say that it is really annoying when girls act like they can't talk to you because they have a boyfriend (which is what one friend of mine is doing). Whatever happened to just being friends?
Hello. Only one more class left unitil the day is over! It will still be a busy day though. After class I have to clean my room for an inspection which means that I have to dust the entire room, mop, clean the sink, clean the shower...... It will take awhile. After that I will be going to Navigators (a Christian ECA) and begin rehearsing for the worship service. Lately I've been playing the bass. I'm really a guitar and piano player but I now have added guitar to my bag of instruments. I also want to learn to play the violin someday. This past weekend was really long. I started writing a research paper at 1pm Saturday and did not finish until midnight (except for a few hours in between). This was not exactly what I wanted to do with my weekend but at least I got some work done. Yesterday, Monday, was also a very long day. The night before I only got 2hours of sleep and I had to sit through 6 classes. I usually try hard not to fall asleep. Fortunately, I drank one of those energy drinks which kept me conscious for most of the day. I probably would have started hallucinating or dreaming during class if I didn't drink anything (yeah its pretty funny). Sometimes I'm so tired that I begin to fall asleep even when I am taking notes. Usually when I am writing and falling asleep at the same time I end up scribbling stuff that I can't read or writing stuff that I am dreaming about. Once in math class I was writing some equations down but at the same time I was falling asleep. A few seconds later when I woke up I noticed that I was writing about superman! I'm not sure why. I usually don't dream about superman. Sometimes when I hallucinate(when i feel like i'm somewhere else) i come close to yelling out in the middle of class what I am dreaming about. It might happen sooner or later. I think that it would be pretty funny. I've also tought myself to sleep with one eye open which I'm very proud of except it doesn't fool the teachers that well. One lesson that I recently learned is that when you are extremely tired be careful when you take a drink because you might forget that you have fluid in your mouth and spit all over yourself! hehehe...... Well now its time for me to go to my systems engineering lab. Talk to you later.
Hello. It looks like it's going to be another long night. Its midnight and I've got a ton of homework to finish before tomorrow. That's why I'm wasting time right now and writing this thingy. Sometimes I have this problem where whenever I am stressed out I waste time. I know it sounds weird but sometimes you just don't feel like doing work. Tomorrow's going to be a busy day. I will be waking up at 0550. I have 6 classes, a parade to be in, a lecture, and mandaratory meal. It looks like I won't have much time to myself until 9:30 tomorrow night in which I will do some more homework! Oh well, enough of my complaining. At least its almost Friday. I have huge plans for this weekend. I am going to go to the library and write my research paper! Actually, before that I think that I will go to the Army-Navy lacrosse game. I've never played lacrosse before and am not a big lacrosse fan, but I must say that it is fun to watch people run around a football field and beat each other with sticks. Today, my Marine Corps martial arts course was fun. We practiced some knife fighting techniques. We also had some civilians come and watch us from the balcony of the wrestling gym where the class meets. Sometimes our audience is little kids or old people. But today was special. This group must have been of highschoolers. Mostly girls, cute girls which made it extra special. Yeah, that must have been the highlight of my day. Last weekend was really long. You see, one of the Juniors in my dormitory got drunk one night and fell out of his window. Sometime in the afternoon the next day they found his body. When I was about to take a nap I was woken up to stand duty because of all the activity going on around my dorm. It was strange to have police guarding the doorway of a room as if it were a crime scene. It was even worse realizing that someone I had been aquainted with for 2 years was dead. I also found out that he was not a Christian. It was painful to think that he is in hell as I write this letter. I hope that I will be able to reach out to whoever is suffering from this tradgedy the most with the gospel. I better get back to work now. Later.
